Real cash for real people
The sooner we can get cash to people everywhere the better. We are working with global partners to set up UBI projects that will get real cash to real people and help to demonstrate what's possible. Our first project will start in 2022 in Msokonezi village, Malawi, providing an unconditional basic income of $7 per person per week to over a thousand people, working with UBI Malawi and ImpactMarket. We need your support to get this project off the ground - find out more and donate here.
Our podcast: Act Global
Our podcast, Act Global, is a space to discuss big ideas for changing the world. We explore climate justice, debt, tax, money creation, worldwide basic income (of course) and much more. You can listen to all episodes here or search for it on your usual podcast player.
A global network for worldwide basic income
We work with activists, academics, international organisations and others to understand how people could benefit from a regular cash share, and invite them to be part of the movement to bring it about.
Our International Advisory Board connects us with communities around the world, providing a global perspective on our work. Our new Academic Advisory Board links us to professional researchers and helps us to establish the worldwide basic income concept within that community. The Recipient Board in our UBI project community links us to people living on low incomes, ensuring their voices have a strong influence within this growing movement. Growing partnerships with tax justice, sustainable economics and other organisations are deepening our research and connecting us with likeminded movements. We are keen to build further connections - please get in touch anytime by emailing info@worldbasicincome.org.uk.

A book to build the movement
We are writing the world's first ever book laying out a worldwide basic income proposal in detail. It will answer all of the big questions: how you could fund it, how could you get the money to people directly, and how we can work towards such a huge change. The first chapters are nearly complete and drafts will be released in advance as discussion papers - see our Publications page. We need your support to get this book completed and published - find out more on our crowdfunder page.
